The result is a ballpark range, not a fixed quote. It gets most homeowners within 15% of the final number. The gap comes from variables we cannot see remotely: the condition of the sheathing behind the old insulation, how many corners and angles your house has, window and door trim complexity, and whether there is asbestos underneath that needs professional abatement.
